CCTV praises "China Business Card" PV industry has ranked first in the world for 15 consecutive years!
Source: CCTV Finance In October 2, according to CCTV Finance's "Economic Information Network" column, China provided more than 70% of photovoltaic modules for the global market in 2021, and for 15 consecutive years, China's photovoltaic module production ranked first in the world. Since the beginning of this year, the export of domestic photovoltaic products has shown explosive growth. Industry data shows that in the first eight months alone, the export volume and total export volume of China's photovoltaic products exceeded the whole year of 2021.
In the inspection area of Zhoushan Port in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, a standard 40 HQ container is about to hold more than 20 pallets of photovoltaic modules to be exported, and one pallet includes about 36 pieces solar PV module. About 0.3 to 0.4 megawatts be packed in 1*40HQ.For one container’PV Module, the annual power generation can reach more than 400,000 kWh. That means the electricity consumption of 150 households for one year.
After unpacking and inspection, containers filled with photovoltaic modules are shipped to the port for export.
In the peak shipment period of photovoltaic modules, most of them are transported by sea rail intermodal transport. Take the sea rail intermodal train from Yiwu to Zhoushan Port of Ningbo as an example,as of the latest data in September this year, its standard containers of photovoltaic products reached 28700, an increase of more than 170% than last year. In the first half of this year, the export of photovoltaic modules was very hot, which was in sharp contrast to the situation more than ten years ago.
Liu Zhigang, Director of Jinko Energy Module Manufacturing: The market size was relatively small at that time. Taking 2010 as an example, the annual export was about 400 MW, which is less than the amount of an order.
The company's total PV module shipments in the first half of the year exceeded 18GW, of which overseas exports exceeded 13GW, accounting for about 74%, and a year-on-year increase of more than 80%.
After constant cost reduction and efficiency increase, at present, the cost of each silicon chip in China has dropped from the highest 100 yuan to 3 yuan, the solar energy conversion rate of the cell chip has increased from the initial 14% to more than 24%, and a large number of photovoltaic modules have been exported, gradually forming a large-scale advantage.
According to the statistical data of the National Energy Administration, the overseas photovoltaic market demand continued to be strong in the first half of this year, achieving a simultaneous increase in volume and price. In the first half of this year, China's photovoltaic module export volume reached 78.6GW, with a year-on-year growth of 74.3%. The total export of photovoltaic products reached 25.9 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 113%.
